The microalbumin test (semi-quantitative) is an immunochromatographic rapid test for the semi-quantitative detection of small amounts of albumin in the urine. In a concentration range from 20 mg / l to 100 mg / l, the colour intensity of the test line decreases continuously, so that the amount of albumin can be read by means of a colour scale. Albumin concentrations above these values are indicated by a complete disappearance of the test line.
